Following the implementation of an environmental Management system based on the international ISO-14001 standard at the La Rioja factory in November 2002, our concern for the environment has materialized in the extension of the scheme to the other MIVISA plants. During 2004 the system will be introduced at the Asturias factory, while the implementation process will continue apace at the other facilities with the aim of achieving certification in 2005.

In line with the above, MIVISA makes continuous improvements such as:
-Search for new coatings
-Improvement of sealing compounds
-Improvement of safety conditions (lights, signalling, etc.)
-“Insulation” of lines
